Deckin’ the Halls

Today I dragged out all the Christmas decorations and proceeded to deck the halls. I didn’t plan on doing it all today, but when you have two supervisors cracking the whip you don’t get many breaks. We got the tree up and all decorated minus the star. We couldn’t find it anywhere. Patrick was very upset. He said, “Santa won’t come if there isn’t a star on the tree.” I eventually found the star and let Patrick put it on the tree. His comment, “Now Santa can find us.” Evidently the star on Christmas trees is a homing beacon for Santa. Go figure.

We just put up our three little trees above the entertainment center last night.
